Is it possible to take the disk brake assembly and backing plate off a ford explorer 8.8 rearend and just bolt them onto my axle?

i have 2 full width 8.8's one out of a 89 f150 and the other out of a 83 bronco?

I guess im just cheapskate and dont want to pay $700 for a conversion
or even $400 for that matter.
What ever i do needs to have a parking brake.

You can buy rotors for the conversion, but the spacing - housing to wm on the axle is important.

easier to just call Randy's for the kit.
