Anybody know of a sealant that is resistant/unaffected by gasoline? i built a tank for my new rig, I have two removable access panels on the top to get to the walbro pickups. is there a silicone that i can use or do I have to make a gasket, if so what is the best material to use, and where can I find it??

Thanks, Scott

3M 5200......stuff sure bonds well.

thats what i was gonna recommend. its a marine adhesive designed for below the water line. once it kicks it aint coming back up. we use the shiat out of it at work

they also make it in a fast cure:awesomework:

i went and read about this stuff..i did not see anything that says if it is gas resistant?? it would be in constant contact with gasoline. Also how hard is it to remove. say, if i need to remove the panels to put in a new pickup or something??

Thanks, Scott
