Eaton looks like an HO52 (no load bolt) though there seems to be some debate on all 72s having one, and 52s not.

I have some friends heading to AOP for New Years I believe. Does everything turn freely on that axle? What's the WMS width? I'd offer $100 as long as my buddy is OK w/ picking it up from AOP for me.

I believe WMS on the HO52 is ~63 inches. Very stout axles and can be converted to disk brakes pretty easily too.

I've got a 72 I'm working on for my Jeep. Just thinking about picking it up for spare parts. Mine is 65" so I wanted to make sure this had the same hubs, shafts, etc. I'd also be interested to know the year if you knew, and does the pinion have the tapered bearings or ball bearings?

*edit* Looking at that pics again, does it have a load bolt? It sort of looks like there might be one just blending into the dirt.

I believe WMS is 65". I know nothing about these rear ends, I pulled it out and sat it in the floor where the picture was taken. It does have a bolt on the side of the 3rd member. I do not know if it is a load bolt. if you send me your number I will be happy to send you more pictures.
