Gooseneck Cushion Coupler?

Anybody run one of these type couplers? If so, are they worth the money? I'm sort of interested in one to smooth out the ride and help protect the living quarters on my 38' enclosed.

I'm leaning towards the Shocker Hitch because I have an old school fixed ball in the bed of my dually and the Cody Cushion only works with removable ball type hitches.

I've used the receiver hitch version of the Cody. It has been a good product. Going on 3 years no problems. But have no experience with the goose neck version.
