Hyrdo Assist help..

Been having some issues with the hydro assist set up on my XJ. It'll work great for about half a day out of the trails but seems to lock up towards the end.. gets where it won't turn at all unless I hold the gas pedal to the floor.. I figured it was running hot so since I wasn't far I loaded up and went home. Let it sit over night and when I went to pull it off the trailer it was still hard to turn. Got it to the garage and unhooked the Ram from the tierod to see if what actually was causing the issue.. turns out the Ram was working fine.. I have PSC everything except for the box.. which i just drilled and tapped. I'm also running a huge cooler. Pretty stumped on what's going on with this set up. Anybody else have this issue?

It sounds like a pump issue. If it's a TC pump similar to what came in xj's factory it could be the pressure relief spring has weakened allowing it to bypass.
It would look like the large spring in this pic.
