jeep motor question

I am trying to find out if 98 jeep 4.0 will bolt to a 95 jeep that had a 2.5 4cyl with a 5 speed will the 4.0 bolt up to the transmission in the 95 any help would b appreciated

Nope. The 2.5 had a ax5 behind it and the 4.0 has a ax15. I have only see one adapter to put the ax5 behind the 4.0 (cant remember brand) but you would be better off picking up a ax15 its a stronger trans or a newer 5 or 6speed.
