Cleaned it up a bit today, took some pics:
This is about what all 4 stickies on the rig look like after 3 trips. Of course the spare is still new with sticker on it, unmounted:
New Ballistic rebuildable rod ends. These are the ones with the bronze races, no plastic bullshit:
On the passenger side is 2 Rousch Racing coolers plumbed together for the transmission cooler with their own dedicated electric fan. I've never seen the transmission get above 110*. On the driver side is a steering cooler with its own dedicated fan.
The two buttons on by my left foot are rear steer controls. I don't even use the hand controls anymore, but they are still there. I have two spare gas pedals (this rig is DBW) that can come with the rig, I've never needed them though. Custom brake pedal.
Custom shift gate allows you to go from any forward gear, over and straight up to reverse. This has saved me a few times. There is no shifter out there that allows a faster shift to reverse. Tread tape on the floors. Two fire extinguishers easily reachable as well as an additional one (not int he pic) to douse the engine.
Brake rotors develop surface rust the instant water touches them. It goes away as soon as you use the brakes though:
All the skid plates are abrasion resistant steel.
No expenses spared. This is the third fuel cap I've had on the rig because I didn't like the previous two. I've spent probably $500 just trying to find a fuel cap I liked. This one was $100 alone.
Trunk lifts up on its own using a gas strut.
Engine compartment is dirty, don't know how to get it much cleaner. Everything works though.
