Wow forward progress on a work party towards new trails. This is the time that we get to start marking trails in the areas that are designated for their use
So from what I heard the 3 groups are going to go with a DNR person and start marking trail layout.
We meet at the lower parking lot at 9:30 and out from there
This is for motorized trails only at this time

Bring your boots and ideas looks like the start of some good stuff :awesomework:

From what I have heard there are some different types of trails that people have interest in
Tight and twisty trails
This will I guess be a trail that is made for the people that want the really tight trails. From what I have heard this trail will have a width restriction
All user trail
Basically a trail for all. If you are stock it would be a long day. I am thinking like ryno land
Advance
Locked up on all 4 and go for it
Extreme
For those that want to push it to the limit

Ow ya and the pod areas
These are areas that will have obstacles set up on an open area that you can hit from different directions

Hm Blackberries such

Note to all that are coming, Bring thick pants, long sleeve shirt and gloves
And your weapon of choice for attacking them :awesomework:

Would a HD weed wacker with steel blade be ok??? It's what I used at my old place to keep the blackberries at bay where I couldn't get the brush hog to....

I think non motorized would be best for now
A lot of the area does not have sticker bushes. We want to make as small of a trail as possible till the trail plan is set and permits are in place.

Hmm I got something in the works but not this time :cheer:

why would people be cutting down trees this time of year? i wouldnt think they would need firewood.
I guess people think that it is there god given taxpaying right to do it

But they got caught :awesomework:
I hope that DNR throws the book at them for steeling cedar

So the way I understand it all of the "extreme" trails which are the ones I would be most interested in are going to be man made and not rely on the natural terrain. I think I'll let you guys mark the trails out as it really doesn't matter where they go.:awesomework:
