We had a good group today!!

Edward in the white zuk
Blake and Christina in the blue zuk
Myself and Joe in the black zuk
Martin and Viron in the teal zuk
Toby and partner in the tan zuk

Zack and his partiner in the yellow CJ
Phil and his wife in the black YJ
I didn't catch the other names but there was a 43 willeys and another YJ.

Started out meeting up with Blake and Martin in the Safeway parking lot around 6:30 this morning. I went to bed the night before without setting my alarm and my cellphone was on silent. Luckily, my daughter woke up around 5:30 wich woke me up just in time to hit the road after a quick shower. We left safeway at 7:00 headed to Elbe to meet up with Edward and his group. Arrived at camp around 8:00 so after a short meet and greet we headed out.

We started out down the (easy Wild ??) continued to Mailine and Alder loop. Then onto parts of Swamp trail and Gotcha. We finished the day up at the pit.

Most were running some type of lower gearing and a rear locker. Tires ranged from stock streat tires to 33"s.

No body damage this trip due to some strong sliders on the Phils YJ and stong front bumpers on the rigs that met face to face with trees. Edward did rip off a rear bumper cover, Blake took out another front turn signal lens and the grey yj busted a front ujoint.

Its pretty impressive what a stock sami can do with street tires and some body clearence from a spring over. I told Martin to bring his samurai out since we were only doing some light wheeling. Sorry Martin.

But, he made it.

I wish I would have know you were going up to Elbe. I was camped up there from Thursday thru Monday. I could have meet up with your group.
It sure was slopy up there.

Sorry John I didn't think we would be doing anything but some basic trail riding. :haha:

The trails are marked really well :awesomework: it was just late last night when I posted the trail run on another sight and wasn't sure if that was the official name.

This is the first time I have had a chance to wheel up in Elbe. I didn't realize the trails crossed that much. One minute we were on one trail and then another the next. :redneck:

So here are a few pics from Sunday on the Busy, Me and Zach (Yellow CJ) were the first ones on the trail. Took us a little over 3hrs

Looks like fun, I can't wait to get out there with the Zuk, although I have no interest in that water hole. Is there any sort of by pass around that hole?

The water hole in the first set of pics was on the swamp trail and yes there is a good bypass around all of it.

That's good to know. I just got a Zuk and finished getting it ready for some light trail duty, I have never been to Elbe, but I am hoping to find a few guys to head out with at the end of June, need to give it a little shakedown run. :redneck:

Looked like a fun day of wheelin. As much as I like wheelin in diverse groups of rigs it is nice to get in a good run where most of the rigs are very similar. Must be fun having such a small and capable rig on those type of trails.
