Well I have been out long enough , so starting a new project. Been toying around with this idea for a long time so now Ive decided to start building and stop thinking about it. Going to keep it tiny under 800 lbs ( shoot for the stars ) and full IFS . Here is the chassis im wanting to use. Will keep you posted on what comes up next .

Dont let the pic fool ya its going to be tiny . The builder of this chassis uses 750 and 1000 cc engines and gets them under 1000 lbs. My motor is light the only addition of weight will be the trans case and front diff . As for engine placement motor should fit forwards via chassis specs.

Here is a pic of the drive set up , this one is running a 450R setup . The 450R set up very popular out West in the Mod Kart or Trophy Kart class . I will be using the same set up but with Axle driven shafts instead of chain . Some of the tube work will have to be modified to fit my Vtwin but shouldn't be an issue . Heck everything we build is custom , right !
Figured I raced ATV's and dirt bikes for years and loved rockcrawling why not have both in a tiny package . I don't have a full size tow rig any more so logistics will be a pain on a full size rig , plus space to store a full size rig is limited at my house. So I have came up with this plan to sort of marry the two and see what I can come up with. So far this is what I have been able to find that may work . I know I could buy a Razor or a Rhino but I kind of want to tackle building something just because I am like that . Plus I have an awesome engine just collecting dust that I need too put to use .

Just ordered almost $600 worth of bender dies today, I'm gonna start building these for kids with 80-450cc motors, depending on what MOMMA won't freak out about. I guess I'm just living the childhood I wanted vicariously through my son's addiction for speed! :driving:
