Need torque converter and gearing advice.

I'm about to slide the drivetrain into a chassis I just picked up. I have a 6.0,400, 203/205, 4.56's and 43's. I plan to mainly trail ride but would like to have some get up and go when it's needed. What torque converter stall would be best for this? And the 6.0 is from a 2001 2500. What do I need to do for a flex plate? Can I use what I have or will I need to replace it? Thanks for any help.

Call Ed at ptc and tell him your setup. He rides and has been drag racing for years.

I have a 6.0, th400, 4.3 atlas, 5.13s, and 43's. PTC built my trans and converter, I highly recommend them. I have a 3500 stall. It crawls fine and is really fun when you have to get on the gas.

The doubler makes it difficult. You need about a 2000 stall in single low, but a 3200 would be fine in double
