I normally just lurk on Hardline and I know this is the same weekend as the SRRS event, but for those who might be closer to this area and can't make SRRS, here is an event I'm putting together. Thanks for looking.

RALLY IN THE VALLEY
June 15-17, 2012
Rock Creek Racing and Recreation ORP
3228 Ferguson Valley Road, Booneville, AR 72927
www.rcrrorp.com

Timed Hill Climb and Obstacle Challenge
Stock-Mod Lawnmower Circle Track Racing
Downhill Barbie Jeep Race
Live Music Saturday Night
Open Wheeling All Weekend Including Mud, Rocks, And Trails For ATV, SxS, and Vehicles

Timed Hill Climb and Obstacle Challenge will include the log jam, 2 hill climbs, and a rock garden course. Each obstacle will have a maximum time limit and the winner will be determined by the lowest combined times. Entry fee is $30 with 100% payout to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in TWO classes. The small tire class will consist of rigs with 40” and smaller tires. The large tire class will be for all rigs with tires over 40”. FULL ROLLCAGE, 5pt HARNESS, and HELMET IS REQUIRED TO COMPETE. Field is limited to 30 competitors due to time restrictions and additional money will be added to purse as sponsorship allows.
Edit: Time limits will be 2-3 minutes per obstacle, this will prevent the event from lasting all day and causing us to be unable to finish all 4 obstacles. This will be STRICTLY adhered to, so when your time is up you take the maximum time as your time on that obstacle and back out of the way. Hopefully this will keep the event entertaining for spectators and being over in time to do the other events before the band starts.

Stock-Mod Lawnmower Circle Track Race will consist of 25 laps around a dirt track on stock or lightly modified lawnmowers with the mowing deck removed. The entry fee will be $5 with 100% payout for 1st place only. No dangerous modifications will be allowed, so just don’t do it or you won’t race. HELMET IS REQUIRED.

Downhill Barbie Jeep Race will be held for bragging rights. Bring a Power Wheels type vehicle with the motor removed for a free wheeling good time. HELMET REQUIRED. Edit: ANY POWER WHEELS TYPE VEHICLE IS LEGAL FOR THE BARBIE JEEP RACE. HOWEVER YOU WILL GET 150 COOL POINTS FOR ACTUAL BARBIE JEEPS OR PINK FOUR WHEELERS. Simply because nothing is funnier than a grown man on a pink Barbie Jeep going down a dirt trail.

FREE RAFFLE TICKET with paid admission for the giveaway Saturday night before the live music kicks off. We hope to get as many sponsors as we can to make the raffle as big as possible.

There will be food vendors onsite and primitive camping (clean porta-potties are available) is included with admission. Admission is $20 for 4x4s, $10 for bike/ATV/SxS, and $10 per person 13 and older.

To enter send a picture of your rig and a description to [email protected].

We are also seeking sponsors for the raffle, t-shirts for competitors, money to add to challenge winnings, and/or anything that might help make this event better for the spectators and competitors!

THANK YOU!!!

Edit: All the money from this event will be used to better the park. The owner is trying to get nice bathrooms built, campsites with electric put in, and pay for fuel to keep the equipment running to maintain roads and trails. I'm doing this for free just to help my local park out. I wanted that to be known, so no one thinks I'm going to pad my pockets by doing this. Thanks again.
