So, I'm taking my wife to Vegas next week for the first adult only trip we have taken in like 5 years. We are both pumped to go somewhere new and have some fun. I know the Vegas thread is here and I will refer to it for stuff to do while there...but I found out last week I have 2 days of meetings in Orange County CA the following Monday and Tuesday (and then two days of a site visit in Mexicali, Mexico on Wed and Thurs...yayyyyy), so instead of flying back to TX, only to get on another plane and fly back to CA, I decided to rent a car in Vegas and drive from Vegas to Lake Forest, CA on Sunday. The trip looks to be about 4 hours and appears to be a "Been through the dessert on a horse with no name." kind of affair, but if anyone has some suggestions of anything cool to see on the way, please offer them up!
