It is crooked. I am in the process of fixing it. I have tried it and it does ok. It only weighs 3Ibs 5oz.

Why, all my RC18T packs are dead. I will be going to Home Depot to get more materials to rework it yet again and to get lead weights.

Well I got it all fixed. Seems to crawl pretty well. It just needs a lot of weight on the axles and wheels.

okay I can understand the low COG, but how does it flex? looks like the channel would limit the flex a fair bit? and how would you mount a body to it?

It only flexs like 45*.

The body though is a bit difficult. I think you have to put body posts on the axles.

I forgot to mention that it crawled really well today on my test rocks. Now I just need some weight and take it to the beach.

Well I got the weights(which I got for free). And will be taking it back to my test site (which isn't much of a challenge)

I might do a torsion design but not with aluminum, the material "work hardens " and will fail with time. :;


unless it is the right alloy, and I am not letting that cat out of the bag. :haha:

Yeah it will fail over time. It is just the aluminum stuff at home depot.
