News article from Fox news. Typically I think that about 98% of what is on any news media is BS. However, this same thing happened in Jacksonville, FL. last year. My niece attends First Coast High School, the same place I graduated from. She, and a lot of other students, refused to participate in the class, which caused a huge uproar. The school held a meeting with the parnets. One of which was a Marine that should up in uniform. Well, the school admin had the Marine removed and banned him from returning. When my uncle asked why, they said the Marine offended the muslim teacher and muslim students.

Re: what's being taught in your child's school?

It has begun long ago boys and girls. The first thing to do is do your best not to break the 4th commandment. When you really break it down, the things said by the Muslim figure were correct. The followers of Alah sure have proven how well they know the teaching of their god. Granted we aren't happy about that.

God warns of this long ago. These are no secrets. The number one concern is whether you really believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that he is our lord and savior. In the end it's all in his hands.

These things will continue to happen. You will either be a casualty, saved or part of the army of the saints and stay behind.

Cool stuff if you ask me. It was all talked about in the bible a thousand years ago. It's just running the course.

Home school your kids and teach them all about who and what is important in life. No worries right? Lol

Hey I know I use fowl language from time to time. It's not the sign of the strongest Christian. I don't feel great about that but I feel like I'm on the right side of fight.

I feel like I'm supposed to stay behind. We all have a purpose huh?

I feel like this described me to a T. I'm an asshole to foreigners, but I think we as Americans need to get our **** together before we go Bible thumpin' overseas. Kick 'em all out if they don't acclimate, conform, and integrate, then bring back the Judeo-Christian values.

Todd Starnes has written several very similar news articles about the same topic. Schools from all over. I've only got one left in high school. He's like me, he'll tell someone trying to teach him islam to go **** off.

You taught him well. :dblthumb:

Hadn't really given this much thought until now. My youngest is a senior in high school this year. Gonna talk to her tomorrow, see what she has to say. Haven't heard anything about this in our area yet.

Glad I currently live in a fairly small somewhat rural TX town.
When we moved here I went to the grammar schools to speak with the principals to decide what school to send the kids to (we live on the borders of three districts and can "transfer" our kids into a neighboring district as long as their grades and attendance are good). When I spoke to the principal of the school we send them to now, we chatted for a bit about general stuff, then he looked at me and said, "I know why you're here. Look, we put up a Christmas tree in the lobby every year, we say the Pledge of Alligence every day and under God stays in it, no matter what. When they say I can't put up a Christmas tree, or say under God, I will put you on the list of parents to call."
Made my decision easy and I don't regret it one bit!

This in reference to my comment or the subject in general? Just curious... :dunno:
Lol, sorry bout that. Apparently that's what gets put in when you try to paste "**** islam" in Arabic.

We're in a small town in southern AZ. One of each school, which all are over crowded. The schools here are decent, but nothing to brag about. Anyways, I don't have a problem with kids learning about religion in school. However, forcing them memorize the muslim faith statement is complete ****ing bullshit. Do they make muslim kids memorize the Lord's Prayer? No they don't because all the bleeding heart pathetic cowardly useless piece of **** liberals will jump all over the schools about seperation of church and state.

That's pretty awesome. That's the way I envision all Texas to be but I know it's not.
