March 22nd, 2008 - Noon!
Enumclaw, Wa

Hey folks...

Rob is kind enough to allow all these people to come over to his land in Enumclaw for a big mudbog. As of now, there is a ton of folks planning on showing up.

Please post if you are attending, what vehicles / trailers your bringing, and how many people. This is a family friendly event so no worries.

There will be something setup near my truck (big silver dodge - picture below) where you can donate $5 or $10 to the cause. You can find me in a Camo boonie hat if you would like to make a donation and be sure it won't get lost. This will provide fuel for the tractors, generators, and high pressure washers. This is in no way to make money but to show Rob some appreciation and for us not to take advantage of him. It's gonna be a fun day! There will be grills so bring some food / meat / potluck... whatever.

We also ask that you get all the "big chunks" off with the pressure washers before you bail from the property. There will be plenty of room.
I have PM'd / Emailed a ton of people the address. The mud is back a ways from the road and we don't want the law around. If you would like the address please PM me and I will gladly pass it along.

Thanks,
Scott
(on behalf of Rob - he's not feeling well)

I'll need to leave by 2:00, maybe I can come by a bit before noon.

We can play just as soon as we clear the livestock & get a pressure washer that works. Mine won't stay running (and my other one doesn't have more pressure than a garden hose), so I'm looking to borrow one. I'm also looking for some road cones or something to mark off a mud-drag area.
We'll move the animals 1st thing in the morning (9-ish).

I should be coming down to spectate, either riding along with Grumpy, or down in my F250. There's two of us, but we're small, and don't take up that much room.:redneck:

Hey all,
I'm still stumped for a pressure washer. I can't even get mine to fire now & there's not enough time to tear into it. Also, if anyone has a portable patio tent kinda thing....
The forecast looks good but ya never know.

We're in the home stretch now. The kids are thrashing around here, making space for parking, cleaning up and making things user-friendly. Things are starting to come together. I still have a ton to do that the kids can't do. Brenda is out of service (she was in the hospital today w/ false-labor). The doctor says she has to take it easy or he'll put her on bed-rest.
I still haven't fixed the jeep from my last episode (I'm planning on doing that right after I move the cattle, Sat morning).

I'm thinking about having un-official prizes. I bet Torklift would kick up some hats. Brenda bought some silly looking pink panties for whoever gets stuck 1st. Anyone have any ideas?
It looks like we may have a bigger turnout than we expected. I'm getting calls from all over the place (one 4x shop called for directions) and 2 different guys are coming from Canada. I want to remind everyone that, even though we're in a rural area, I still have neighbors and I've promised them that we won't be too rowdy. Also, several people are bringing their families 'cause I told them we'd keep it family friendly. For those who want to kick it up, the Yella' Beak Saloon is just down the street (we may head down there ourselves, in the evening). Camping is available on my neighbor's land (plug-ins are 1st come 1st serve).
I hope this is a fun time. I have some people that are coming to see if they want to do this as a sanctioned event next year.

Do you have port-a-potty's set up? These would be a necessity for the womens.

Are you kidding? Man, this is E-town. Only city-its crap in plastic outhouses

I just installed a brand new seat and some new issues of my favorite mags (Jp, D.Power, 8-lug). Also, (as seen in the pic) I put it closer to the mud AND over a fresh hole (I'll test it tonight).

We're still needing wood for the fire. Also, anyone who wants to sit on something dry, should bring their own chairs.
We're still looking for a pressure washer, too. I couldn't even get mine to fire last night.

News update: spend.gif

Torklift has decided to pony up some stuff for a raffle.
3rd place is a TLI ski jacket
2nd place is a set of our new "Stable Loads"
And the grand prize is the new 20k double shank (which we still don't have a name for yet)

We'll also have our anniversary hats (while supplies last).

I'll take the show truck home tonight so we'll be really easy to find.
