• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Wheelin this weekend?

Hey, is your chariot done? I can't go till the 23dr in the meantime I will be bending tube and morphing Big booty Judy into a exo crawler!! get some pics up when you can!!

I'm taking out the CJ5 because the Buggy won't be done for a couple, a few, etc. weeks.

I think Saturday will be a fun, short day though. I'll just stick to the power line trials at Reiter FoothillsTrailsPit. I'm sure Jobless will be right behind me:redneck:driving patiently, helping me through all the bypasses. LOL

Reiter Pit is not an official name and neither is Reiter Trails. So it has nothing to do with rights. It has everything to do with image and the image to the outside world, not wheelers. And if you think a name doesn't mean much, you weren't paying attention in socialogy or marketing classes.
BTW, RTW did not come up with the Reiter Trails moniker, it was there before RTW was.

I kept your quote above because it is the exact point I am trying make, thank you. And for those paying attention, there has been more positive press at Reiter in the last couple years, than all the years combined that I can ever recall. It takes time to turn a battleship around and I have seen progress being made.

Obviously you fell asleep in sociology too:haha: because it has been "named" reiter pit for a lot longer than reiter trails or foothills, or bum fawk egypt, and through CONDITIONING (look it up...:fawkdancesmiley: ) people have become familiar with it being named reiter pit, I ask and have talked to many people who refer to it as reiter pit and will continue to refer to it as reiter pit...

Will there now be a politically correct name for the gravel pit then,
like Reiter Trails Aggregate Facility? :haha:

I'll be there Saturday if I'm fixed, but my heads going out to a machinist so realistically it'll be another week or two.

Funny sig line you have there. nice to be original:rolleyes: But since I dont know you personaly I will just ask. Have you actualy ever built any trails? I mean the legal/official type trails not just driving through the woods wherever you feel like it type trails?

Me? No.....

How do you think Reiter was made Jim?

as I said "legal/official" trails theres lots of user built trails around that were made by people just going where they want. Many of these trails are now legal/official trails due to a lot of hard work.

You could say you helped build blueballz up in canada. Your rig was the first one throught it.:D

I'm too modest to take credit for those damn canadians hard work.:awesomework:

I have made new lines @ Reiter though.:redneck:

The legal/official terminology for trails doesn't/didn't work at Reiter as it was not an official ORV area.
