Grant No. Project Area Description DNR Contact
12-1067 Tahuya & Green Mt ORV trail and facility maintenance-This project will provide critical recreation trail and facility maintenance and repair in the heavily used Tahuya State Forest in Mason County and the Green Mountain State Forest in Kitsap County. The funds will support a five person, year-round trail crew to perform maintenance and minor improvements on approximately 100 miles of trail in the Tahuya State Forest, 13 miles in Green Mountain State Forest and eight different ORV recreational facilities in the two forests. Of primary concern are the heavily traveled 2-track ORV and 4X4 multiple-use trail networks and associated trailheads, campgrounds, and day-use facilities.
