....its what I got

ya i decided to just find a buddy with a porta power and push the roof out enough so i can get some glass in it.. Plexi sounds like a good choice.. how does it hold up though? i know im ganna go over again 1st time i take it to elbe!:haha:

If you cant make it through elbe without rolling then you either need driving lessons or find a new hobby:booo: Then again you dumped it in your own culdisak:haha: :haha: :haha:

Their common because their a cheaper way to get into the sport:eeek: Their still called jeep trails for a reason:stirpot:

:haha:

Yeah, thats why the value of most Yotas is much higher than most Jeeps (Classic Jeeps aside... :; )

You can pick up a YJ or an XJ for what, $300? :puke:

I like the classics, all of 'em!

IIRC Toyota has been prducing IFS trucks for like eleventybillion years now :eeek:
Yeah, in the good 'ol USA! Still got some SA's made for Aussie and African markets.... and I wheeled my IFS for like, 6 years with very minimal breakage. I just got tired of feeling tippy all the time!
Stock form? Who's stupid enough to run anything in stock form? All of the stock toy junk is out there because it's cheap and plentifull not because it's worth a crap. You guys need to scrap that toy junk just like everyone else scraps their stock JUNK.:stirpot:
Oh, yeah. I got the big bucks...:looser:
whats bad about a 2" block? will it cause that much more axle wrap? even with an 8 leaf pack?:wtf:

I ran a two inch block and didn't much care for it. It moves the leaves into the way of the e-brake cables and such...

Hey, what springs, F&R, did you use? My rearend ended up about an inch short as well... :eeek:

....well got a hookup on a glass guy and hes going to put my window in for 150$... (thats including the glass) ...dont really care if its the best deal or not, hes going to beat my cab around till it fits and is sealed so thats fine with me. I also got a front driveline off of a 79 that I can modify to work i think. Have you guys had to clearance them to get them to work on the sas'd trucks??:masturbanana[1]:

I just got a used rear d-line from Mark M. and got a long-travel d-shaft kit from Marlin, and had a shop build tube to it and balance it. would have been much cheaper to do it myself, but I was leaving on an important trip the same week!

BTW, I had mine built with single joints, not CV. Way cheaper, simpler, no "clearancing"... and I can do highway speed with shaft turning and only a slight vibe around 45, then goes away! :;

Most people I talked with told me to go with single joints.

Its got glass in it again!!!! ....after 3 tubes of window glue and a sledge and a 2x4. Now im looking for a set of doors with glass! anyone?

After a long $$ drout this winter im finally back on track again.. still nothing special you guys havnt already seen 100 times, but I appreciate tips. so here it goes.

Finnally got the front driveline hooked up. This is my first vehicle locked up at both ends and WOW. what a differant world. Im trying to find loose ends and fix them all up before i go out anywhere. This week im on Vaca so im picking up a 4.7 Tcase and bobbing the bed. here is what I got done on the bobb. Need to start making it line up now.
