:dblthumb: Assuming some of y'all know each other already.....so curious on how we may divide up.
Don't wanna be the fat kid that no one wants on their team!!! ;D

Sure, a few do. I figure we will have a meeting on Friday and Saturday morning. At the Evarts South Campground, as that is where the majority is staying. Depending on the number at the meeting will determine what we do. If you miss the meeting, then you would be on your own for the day, unless you get a phone number(s) of someone to arrange a meet up. If we need two groups, we will need to find a leader that has ridden there a few times and knows their way around. This should be real laid back, not a formal guided ride like I have been on years ago.

As we get closer, I will post up things like the meeting time and place. That you need to be ready to roll out, fueled, food etc. I am not into the hurry up and wait mode. I like to be on time, and expect others to do the same. If we decide on 8am meeting and 8:30am departure, then that is when it will happen, be late, be left. Really pretty simple.

Sounds like a plan. Hate that hurry up and wait bullcrap too. Seems to be that way almost every time we ride over there. I'm staying at the Evarts South campground too...so I should be on time! 8)

i know this guy ^^^^ loller.gif the south evarts campground keeps firewood there and its free. we can give them a heads up that we have a big ride planned and they can bring more in.

I think having 2 groups will work out best. But I think it will pretty cool if we all ride together on the day we plan to hit lions den and mason jar. Its takes a little while to get to lions dens, with obstacles along the way, then a little while to get to mason jar. Just my .02 cents, Which is only worth half a cent.

Yeah lions den and mason jar are the farthest obsticals. I feel a lot of people will hang out around the lower rock garden because you have so many obsticals and trails within 5 min. You have Pinball, Railbed, Waterfall, Creampuff, Little Jaggar, Pony Hill...etc.

Just throwing out an idea....so no body get mad...... We did a big ride there once and split up into 2 groups..... 37" tires and under for 1 group and other group was 38" and larger tires. We did have the guys with 37" stickies ride with the larger tire group though

We got a group coming from South Carolina and Georgia with 5 or so rigs.

Good to know. If we divide up, we can set a time to meet there. As to tire size in groups. I have done that before, but for this ride where most everyone knows only a few IRL (In Real Life), I feel it is best to let folks ride with who they are comfortable with.

I am so looking forward to this.

I think honestly if we're gonna run lions den and mason jar as a group, we should do it Friday morning or Saturday morning, cause with a big group, it gonna take awhile. Then we could split up into groups.

I like doing the hard stuff like lions den on the last day....that way I don't break the first day then watching all weekend..... :driving:

Here is an idea got from a Crawl 4 Christ event we went to back in 2011. They gave us shirts with all the Trails/Obsticals at Harlan on the back of the shirt. beside each one there was a small box to put a check in when you completed the obstical. I was thinkin about having some shirts made up for the hardline ride. Kinda like bragging rights on what you have completed. Anyone interested?

Yep, I'm in for a shirt. I agree with running those obstacles on Saturday, I will be leaving out on Sunday morning, I just would like to run them as a whole group, plus there are a couple good spots between lions den and mason jar to get some good group pics taken.

I am in and would buy a shirt too. Truck is mostly repaired thanks to Stevo, now I need trailer tires and and for Ryan to pick up my junk.
