    what shocks?

Bilsteins work great at one given rate / set up.... If you want tune on the fly control you will have to go with something like this. http://www.landpiratesoffroad.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=132&product_id=445 and then go with the adjustable compression. It gives you 20...

    17" rim off road

Yep... 17s are the future... 16 are going by the way side now too. most bead locks for racing are all 17s unless your running a really small truck or a buggy.

    Manual brake pedal ratio

6:1, or better yet 7:1 is what most set ups run. The heavier the rig, the bigger the ratio of course. The longer ratio give you more power in an emergency, plus has more modulation. If your making it yourself, set it up with mutable pivot points, then you can dial it right to where you like it!

    Toyota crossmember

We would just run the Bud Built stock location cross member. It gives you 3 more inches of clearance, but does not mess with anything else. Drive line angle IS important! That's our input... :D

    Toyota crossmember

Bud Built Bud Built has a replacement one that works very nicely with the factory mount. By direct or through a distributor. Adds 3 inches of ground clearance. =-) hard to bet that! Even has a T-case skid option. If you have a second t-case, you have the same options as well... So it is a win...

    Header help

We will start up the rig just for a bit to heat up the heads. Makes it a little bit of a bitch at times with the hotter exhaust... But it helps the oil get in to break them free... We replace them with studs when ever possible and SS ones at that from ARP.

    Enclosed trailers - need input

We have run Spector trailers for years (20) with out any trouble. While an enclosed trailer is great for a UTV or quads, we like having the open trailer for the Toyota. Easier to maneuver for us (you can see around them easer) and they are easier to clean. We have also found that room can be...

toy w/ 22re idle issues when wheeling

For fans, we run the biggest fan we can cram in there with full shrouds. Yeah, did not think about the grounds... Add some! That can never hurt a thing! As for the AC load, in an injected engine, they have a solenoid that boosts the RPM to compensate for it. There is no solenoid for the...

Lifted Toy, Need local help with front driveline!

Not sure... Just throwing this out there... Doesn't places like All Pro have a replacement drive shaft for that application? Hummm sounds like a universal problem (no pun intended) for just about anyone who wants a SAS swap. Someone must know a solution!

toy w/ 22re idle issues when wheeling

We have heard of it and we had kind of the same issue with our Landcruiser. With tons of lights, then other higher amp loads, it would fall short. Not bad... it was injected. So we installed a hand throttle and solved our problem. We also later installed a Mean Green Alt. can the problem only...

    whats your opinion?

Look into Marlin Crawler's red case tranny. They use them for racing and we have never had an issue with them. While we did not have a V-8... we had a hot 4 banger and we were not nice to the tranny one bit. :D

    Any tintop sammy guys...

Looks like an interesting project! We do not have measurements, but why not just bob the top, roll cage it, adapt a Lextan wind shield and go for it! :redneck: Of course... you do not want to end up looking like this.... :D

what kind of rig for NW wheeling (coming from AZ)

Until it blows up in a fire ball while rolling down one of our cliffs, it will work great. Just have to trailer it to the trails... done the rain gear... and have a really good heater. Cover the top in 6061, it is quieter than steel and will not rust. Make the doors that way too! Your in our...

    20R to 22RE conversion

We ran part number Part# 1061100 from LC Engineering on our stage 4 EFI stroker engine. With a snorkel and a hand made air box the set up worked awesome. Plug n play injection and it never let us down for the 20,000 miles we put on the truck. It worked a lot better than the factory EFI and it...

    20R to 22RE conversion

We did get that, but there are a lot of people who plan on running after market EFI and when they do the swap, they run a carb at first. Hell, we ran a stage 4 EFI off a carb for 2 years before picking up the injection unit. We were just asking for more information... Heck if we know what they...
