1989 Toyota Extended. Timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, intake gasket, plugs and wires were all replaced @ 192,XXX miles with all Toyota parts...has 234,xxx miles now. Nothing from Trail Gear is on this truck. Over $20,000 invested.
Specs are:
What Not's = Warn M8000 winch. The rear axle has been moved forward 11" which is why it looks shorter. Wheelbase is 112". Allpro Offroad rock sliders. Custom exo with Highlift and spare FR/R drive shafts incorporated. IFS steering box has been moved forward, indexed and gusseted to allow Tie Rod clearance with V6 oil pan (this is a common issue). Sony head unit w/ auxiliary plug, Infinity fronts, Polk Audio rears, amp and 12" sub. Gas tank has been turned sideways and raised to clear shorter wheelbase. LC Engineering motor-mounts. New style ARB pump. A/C still works. Doors are removable via pins.
Suspension = Allpro Offroad 4" springs FR/R. SAS kit - 1st gen Allpro Offroad
Axles = FR – '85 model toy housing gusseted on top w/ factory toy bottom gusset. Ball gussets. Randy's R&P high pinion with 5.29 Yukon Gear and ARB Locker. Bobby Long 30 spline shafts with factory Aisin hubs. Marlin knuckle rebuild kit installed less than 2k miles ago. 8" plumbing cap diff guard / Rear – 5.29 precision gear with Detroit Locker. 8" plumbing cap diff guard.
Wheels and Tires = 38x12.50x15 TSL (90% tread) mounted on 15x10 Trail Ready Aluminum Bead Locks.
T-case = Dual cases (both are 2.28:1). Since the factory case is a V6 and is chain driven I purchased the dual cases with dual case adapter and V6 adapter as a unit from Marlin Crawler with a Budbuilt cross member. Both cases are mounted to the cross member via factory motor mount.
Spares = Allpro Offroad tie rod, drag link, 1 RH FJ80 rod end and 1 LH FJ80 rod end. Alternator. Transmission. Knuckles. Various spindle and hub parts. Clutch fan with belts. Drive Shafts. 2 sets of toy factory front inners. 1 factory birfield. 36x12.50x15 TSL (nearly new) if you need it, don't air down and it's mounted on an old aluminum wheel.
Asking $5,500obo. I'm located on NE FL but willing to drive reasonable distance to make deal happen. I only wheeled this rig twice and it is more than capable. I just do not have time to wheel it.
