June 8 will be a UTV only racw at the Uwharrie Off-road Training Center in Uwhattie, NC. This will be a cross contry type of course with zero rocks. The course will be about 1.5 miles long with long sweeping turns, fast straight sections, whoops, jumps, technical woods sections and offers fantastic spectator viewing areas and easy access to the pits by racers and spectators alike! Its located directly across from the Eldorado Outpost, a popular spot for off roaders visiting the Uwharrie National Forest trails! Great exposure for your team and the event!!!
The event will be set up with 2 heat races on Saturday morning to qualify for the main (all qualify for main, heat races determine start position for the Main race).
Each heat race will be 30 minutes and racers will be grouped into Heat 1 or Heat 2 by random selection.
Main race is mid-afternoon and will be 1.5 hours.
Registration will open at Midnight on 5-30-13.
Entry fees are $60 with 100% payout.
Entry fees get the driver in the gate free. All others are $10 for the weekend. Co-drivers are an additional $10.
Free primitive camping for racers. $5 per person per night for non-racers.
Bring the family for some racing fun and visit the Uwharrie National Forest at the same time for a fantastic weekend of racing, trail riding, and camping!
