Is the aluminum looking disc a spacer for the clutch.

Looks like it adapts a jeep bell to a Chevy motor?

Yes, that's correct. I believe it fits a Jeep trans to a small block chevy

Looks to be missing some important hardware but I bet that could be picked up cheap...
Overall a good buy if you want an r4 or other chev Trans behind a 4L jeep engine.
