I would go ahead and run 17" there are more tires available for them now!
 
I've got a set of 44" Groundhawgs on 16.5 DIY beadlocks I'd be willing to part with. $950
 
If i had to pick I would get some 24 bolt h1 wheels from dude in gainsville for 25 buks each, 10 a piece for rubber runflats.. Get some 44" TSL's like the ones in CL in my area right now for 500 or so.. Then some centers with that pattern. Re center wheels and Ya have double Beadlocks and 44's for around 7-800. But that's me. Actually I would WANT to run 49's Atleast! Hell it ain't gonna be a bouncer, and you Prob won't be doing any technical crawling. Plus who don't love to see a Fukin BEEEAST comin trough the woods just cruising over everything!!! I swear I would make it as big and wide as possible. FTW
