I need a cover for the bed of my 2005 Ram 2500 to keep my kid's stuff dry on road trips. I want one of the ones that either folds or rolls up. I've seen some really shitty tonneau covers in the past but never paid attention to brand. What brands should I gravitate towards and which ones suck?

Truxedo low profile is my favorite. Looks good. Seals great. It's a roll up style. I have had trifold a in the past but I think the roll up seals a little better.

I got mine through these guys for $270 shipped. Seemed like good quality and kept everything dry, going through 6 hour snow storm.

Truxedo Lo Pro QT.
Lifetime guarantee on every part including the cover.
Can't beat that for the few extra dollars.
Plus they work great.

My problem is my tool box. It's over the bedrails.

None of the covers seem to be flexible to work with tool boxes. Maybe it's because they can't seal them up.

Truxedo will do a custom cut to fit with a toolbox.
You will have to seal a few things but can be made to work.

I've got an extant trifold. I really like it, mainly bought it to keep my stuff secure while hunting public land in Arkansas. Doesn't leak and has been pretty tough so far

I was at Wide Open Designs the other day and they have a Truxedo display, may be worth giving them a call. :dunno:
