Torque converter bolts?

So my dad lost the bolts to his torque converter. The ones that I find that fit the best are metric but have just a little play. The closest standard ones I had in my box have more play? Any ideas?

Do you have a small town parts store near by? They usually have a great selection/bolt bin to grab you what ya need, or a Threads of the South store. Advance or Autozone suck for stuff like that. You are talking about just bolts correct? You don't have the bolt and nut, correct?

Yea just bolts. No nut. It's for a th400

Hate to say it, but go to the dealer. It's not like a valve cover bolt if ya get it wrong, it'll take hours to fix.

Any advance auto, napa, oreilies, should have them, look in the HELP or dorman sections. Should be real easy to find,
