For sale is a 454 Vortec engine that I was building for a project that I ended up parting out. I purchased the long block as a low mile take out engine with a lifter tick. The bores, crank and heads are all in great shape. The bores are beautiful with absolutely no wear and had the factory crosshatch (I had a local shop clean them up) The cylinder heads were cleaned up and still have the factory valve job. The engine was such low mileage there was absolutely no wear on the valves / seats. I have a lot of new parts for this engine also. The only thing I don't have are rockers arms and rockers arm studs. All parts are located at my shop in Bowling Green KY. Please pm me with any questions. I can pallet and ship freight, I can also accept a credit card through my business. $2700 for all!
-Block has been cleaned, decked and new cam bearings installed
-Cylinder heads have been cleaned. 454 HO double valve valve springs, chromoly retainers, new valve seals and rotator eliminators installed
-New GM head bolts, main bolts, pushrods, windage tray, oil pan, dip stick and tube
-Low mileage valve covers, timing cover, balancer CLEAN
-New Mercrusier take out billet roller cam, new Elgin hydraulic roller lifters
-New ARP intake bolts, flywheel, and oil pan bolts
-New King standard rod and main bearings
-New Melling 10774 oil pump and pick up
-New Howards double row billet timing chain
-New Mahle 41617 ring set
-New Felpro rear main seal, intake gaskets, one piece oil pan gasket
-New GM head gaskets
-New Weiand stealth intake manifold
-How to rebuild 91-2000 BBC book
-New Katz block heater
-New Performance Distributors Dui distributor and Live Wires plug wires
-New Milodon performance cast iron water pump
-SBC serpentine setup with Saginaw pump and conversion brackets to mount to BBC
-Factory rods / pistons with ARP rod bolts installed and resized CLEAN!
