My partner Steve here at Atomic came up with this idea, so hats off to him for the intellectual property.
The idea is that during a fire, you don't have much time to think, so you grab and run. It is hard to pull a pin that has a ball rusted in it from weathering. This mount lets you grab the release handle with one hand and get away.
We tested them at KOH with a 2.5 lb on on rzr's and a buggy, and we have one on my buggy and several rzr's in the group that thrash pretty hard. We have yet to ever have one come off when it wasn't wanted, and have yet to have one stick. They are fully tig welded and powder coated black
