#27. Building this for someone in AL. LS3, TH400, Atlas, 14 bolts. Chassis is 54" wide around 114" WB.

Curious why the rod ends at the axle on the uppers are mounted with bolt horizontal on front and vertical on rear. Packaging / space issue?

Thanks. A number of others have done it that way. It's stronger holding the axle side to side with the joint loaded that way, but will wear faster. It fit better, so I thought I'd try it.

Hopefully there is another Plate to double shear the steering heims?

That's just for mock up. Probably use some different arms.
