should have put it in the trails section. I would have kept all these scoflaws at bay:corn:

Last saturday the busy was very easy ,less muddy, compared to the weekend before it took us about 45 minutes with no winching to run it and we werent taking the easy lines. we passed you guys eatin lunch in the bottom of the busy.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I've never seen the Busy but I plan on getting together with some friends with rigs of my caliber or better and run it latter this summer.

There are plenty of easy to medium trails at Elbe. I'm glad the huge tire, huge motor crowd have such a nasty place to wheel. Instead of trashing the big tire crowd I choose to look up to them. Someday I will likely have 40s and no body. When that day comes my reward will be to run these trails ( Busy, Outlet mall, etc ) and not destroy my rig or the trail.

The "normal" wheelers can run 85% of what is out there. I will not take a chainsaw out and pave the other 15% of them. The Busy would not carry such legendary status if you could run it in a near stock Rubicon.

Thanks again for the pics. I got a good laugh watching Karl mow through that soupy mud hole. That looks like too much fun.

The day I can run EVERY trail in my ZJ on 33s with little complication is the day I sell my rig and get back into muscle cars. I have never had anyone in that crowd tell me my motor is too big or my car is too fast.

I dont know about "legendary" The busy has always been a harder trail but up until about 5 or so years ago a good driver with lockers and a winch would have no problem running the trail on 33s its just been in the last few years that the holes have gotten so deep and so long that its almost impassable to those who built it and maintained it for so long. I can only hope that those same people that have turned it into what it is will continue with maintaining it. because the old timers are pretty much done with it:booo:

OK I seperated the rest of this disscusion to a new thread called "trails disscusion" This thread is about Hips elbe run so lets leave it at that. Thanks Jim
