After looking at the issues from Walker Valley last weekend, there were some issues that came up that need to be fixed ASAP.
We will be tackling the runoff issues on upper expressway, in the muddy section, as well as the section after the rock climb
Since Ecology is coming out on June 8th, we need to get these issues fixed before the regular scheduled work party on June 12th.
With the holiday coming the last weekend of May, and most people from up north at Elbe June 5th, we'll be holding a special work party this Saturday, starting at 9am in the parking lot.
Things we need:
* Pickup Trucks with beds, that we can load rock into
* Shovels, hoes, etc (might be able to coordinate with Elyse about getting these)
* Hay bails
* Silt Fencing
* Nails
If you have anything to offer, or can be here for labor, that'd be great. It'd show not only local DNR reps, but olympia and DOE that we're serious about keeping our trails sustainable and open for ORV use!
