Evans creek roll over?

Does anybody know anything about a roll over at Evans creek yesterday? My girlfriends mom told us, so it had to have been on the news or something.
She said a jeep rolled over, and the people were missing.

That's just what I've heard, and the only thing I can find on google in a little thing on a Zuk forum.

thanks for the link! sounds like he hit his head real hard, that sucks because people with head injuries dont do rational things which makes it hard for search and rescue.

It was just an offer, sorry to have offended you so much. I will do other stuff today instead and not worry about helping someone who might be in need.

Something like this every year up there happens every time. Always someone without a brain going alone. Just because you have a rear locker does not make your rig capable of going alone.

I have done dumb things by myself.

If I had rolled my rig and was not able to recover it at that moment but was able to return the next day with my own crew then I would not want people I dont from nobody ****in with my rig.

I would be so embarrassed that my sister in law had involved the media, police, search and rescue, when I was beating feet and not needing a circus of heroes.

I would then set my sights on recovering the rig with my own set of folks.

All I was getting at was if the guy was found saving himself, then he is able to be contacted.

PLEASE contact the owner and get permission to move the vehicle as long as he is able to give a yes or no.

If the guy was in a coma and seeking any kind of help possible then by all means go save the day.

I have noticed over the years that not all heros are competent. If a guy is willing and able to get it himself, maybe he dont want help.

If you dont understand what Im saying then dont worry about it.

Please leave my rig an the hillside till I can get it myself, or send "my guys".

hell, I made a bad decision once and ended up sleeping up there all night... Walked out in the AM and started making some calls... Had a few from here ready to rock n roll to come pull me out...:awesomework:

That was at Walker, and he went so far as to get his brother involved, who honestly thought his brother was in trouble so he (the brother) contacted DNR (kim at the time), who actually talked to the idiot for a moment before cell reception was lost, and thought it was legit---so the call was made; not to be heroes, but to help someone in need...motorcyclists pitched in as well, as they could cover more ground...Yeah we were all pissed...but not all was lost..............

I know exactly what you are saying, my wife has sent the sherrifs department looking for me many a nights in Missouri when I was having a good time. I also rolled my truck when I was there and wished someone would have helped me to save me the wrecker fees. Its all good, I see it both ways and was not going up there without the owner's ok, or a planned event that was ok'd by him. I was mainly looking for something cool to do on my day off. :beer:
