I said the 66/7 were similar in looks, Galaxie is just a bigger, heavier car. I don't think anyone on here is trying to pull a Richard Rollins on JD. Unless they are 390 hi po or 428 cars they are not going to bring much. Just not real desirable cars to the general public or collectors for that...

Would have been ordered that way, most all with the 428 had bucket seats. Worked on 2 that were local to me. Who ever stated they were like Fairlanes are off by about 1200lbs. Galaxie was a large luxury car, favored the Fairlane in looks in 66/7 but was larger and heavier.

There Wang be a 302 or 351 in either of those cars. 302 came out in 68, 351 in 69. Most likely either 289 or a 390 2 barrel. If they are both small block cars maybe a grand each according to condition. 390 2 barrel not gonna help the price much if any. Find a flat top four barrel on either and...

What was/is giving the problems? I know some of the older dodge's had track bar issues, some other problem also?

Joho-Was the problem not correctable through the aftermarket? I assume warranty would have fixed the issue but you didn't trust factory parts? I'm not a dodge fan per se, would buy a Ford if I could find the equivalent for this price.

Nhl-bullit, that's basically what I will be pulling for the most part with the occasionally heavier load thrown in. I could probably get by with a half ton truck but the price on this one is to good to pass up!

Looking at a new 2500 crew 4x4 with the 6.4 hemi. Max I will ever tow maybe 8k usually around 4-6k once a month or so. Anyone got this setup and if so how do you like it? Truck will only see maybe a 1k miles a month, usually less so definitely don't want to spend the $$$ for a Cummins.
