Toyota Dual Cases - School Me

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transfercase/pickup_dual.htm#adaptors it is clocked 10* but i was wrong about the driveline part. it is clocked to help gain ground clearance.

Toyota Dual Cases - School Me

marlin has a fancy adapter that is clocked 10* to help your front driveline angle, and front range offroad offers a x-member for a clocked t-case. i think front range even sells just the center section that bolts to the t-case so you can make your own x-member. just a couple options you may want...

    toy axle swap

sky manufacturing, trail gear, marlin crawler, all pro, front range offroad. all have the parts you are looking for. you have to use high steer anyways because of the cross over type steering box on your rig. oh, and if you do a search you will probably find rigs that already have a solid axle...

    The Build-Up Begins...

ahh i see. i didn't realize you had a body lift. i was looking at where the top of your tires sits compared to your frame. i'll probably look at 5" instead then. thanks for the info. :awesomework:

    The Build-Up Begins...

i've been thinking about getting a lift from trailgear or marlin for awhile now but i wasn't real sure what size springs to get. after looking at the amount of lift you got with those 4" springs i think that's what i am going to get for my rig. oh, and are those 36" IROK's ?

    pro comp mud tires

When i bought them it ended up costing me less than it would have to buy BFG's. 4wheelparts was haveing there buy 3 get one free sale plus free shipping and i got a $100 gift certificate. so when i bought them they where cheaper. I double checked and your right the BFG's are a little less but...

    pro comp mud tires

i'm running a set of 35x12.5r15's and they seem to do alright, i've only owned mud terrain type tires so that's all i can compare them to. i've never run bias ply swampers or anything like that so i can't compare then to that type of tire. compared to other mud tires they do good though, i've...

    DIY Bead lock rings

After reading this thread and looking at some of the prices for 17" DIY beadlocks I can't help but think it would be easier and in some cases cheaper to buy a beadlock from champion or somewhere else. I found a price for champions and they were $250 i think for a steel 17x8 or 17x9 toy with 3.5...

    IFS steering box

I ended up buying a power steering kit, but it turns out I still need the idler pulley bracket. anyone have one of those laying around?

    IFS steering box

so if i was going to add the power steering do i need a different head? i remember hearing or reading somewhere that rigs with power steering had a different head because of where the power steering pump connects to the head/block.

    IFS steering box

so got home for R&R today and i opened up my boxes. one of which included a rebuilt 86-88 steering box. it has a couple of soft plugs for power steering i'm assumeing. so my question is did i order the wrong box because my truck doesn't have power steering, or are all 86-88 steering boxes taped...

    camshaft dilemma

I thought about doing the 22rte swap, and that might be a bigger project than I am really willing to commit to right now. I had considered switching to propane. That was the main reason I was looking at building a high compression motor. Thanks for the info on delta cam. I'll keep that in mind...

    camshaft dilemma

I figured it would be easier to buy a cam and have it sent to me. That way I can put it on the bench till I get around to replaceing it. Do they have specs you can choose from or do you just have it ground to the same specs as the cams that other people sell?
