I wheeled a full size for years. Didn't take long to destroy every panel on that truck. Went through a couple windows, a mirror. It's not ideal... Save the full size for the towing and invest in a yota or jeep. You'll enjoy it a lot more.
Awesome thanks guys!! Im still rebuilding the axle, waiting on the new rotors and the shackle mounts. I'll post some pics once I start tearing into it.
I'm posting for a buddy, he has a '99 Tacoma and needs to replace the passenger side window. They're electric windows, and he already has the replacement. He is looking for pointers on actually doing the swap. Any help would be appreciated.
awesome good to know ill watch for it. upon examining the axle i def need new calipers and rotors. any suggestions as far as new calipers? should i upgrade to anything as long as im in the act or just go with some reg toy calipers?? also rebuilding the knuckles, any suggestions on this as well...
I've been investing this link stuff myself, and you can actually find link calculaters online, they ask for wheel base, tire size, etc. and tell how how long and where to mount links. I just googled it and found a good one on pirate.
I bought a couple of Toyota axles this weekend at the swap meet, and they came with leafs. They def look like they're aftermarket, but I can't tell how much if any lift they give. Is the best way to just mount them and see what I end up with?
