My buddy had an '01 F250 Crewcab with the V10. He absolutely loved it and is kicking himself for getting rid of it. We pulled a fully loaded 24ft enclosed trailer many times over to Moses with no issues. I'd get one.
I drive a 2wd 1/2 ton with the 4.8 everyday. I think its a great reliable motor with plenty of power. I have about 150k miles with no problems. It doesn't feel like a dog even when I have it overloaded with lumber. Run it.
Ivar's did shitty work on my girlfriend's Honda (before I met Her). They said they used Honda parts, but actually used off-brand. They also did work that wasn't needed. Just preyed upon a girl that has no automotive knowledge. Just my $0.02.
I'd like to switch my Jeep 258 I6 over to propane. Is it cost effective to piece it together? If so, does anyone have the part numbers I need? Or is it better to just order the kit from Gotpropane?
Sorry, I should have said that I'm stretching the wheel base by approx 6 inches. So that shouldn't be much of an issue. Just trying to figure out if its worth the money.
The only good duck hunting I've had on the West side of the mountains is in Skagit Valley. Everything else has been a waste of time. I've heard some of the private clubs in Duvall are good, but $$$$.
