Each tank holds 8 gallons. With my Samurai I was able to drive in from loon and to the springs. Back to spider and again back to the springs. Then back out to the start of the trail on just one 8 gallon tank.

I went with the Got Propane kit for my 1600 Samurai. I kept the 1300 intake, exhaust and distributer. The kit comes with most of the part you need. I made a couple of brackets out of scrap steel to mount the throttle cable. Everything else was included in the kit.
