    Reaming with a taper reamer

I've done it twice w/ a hand drill and things came out fine, though I would have preferred to use a drill press. As others have said, use plenty of cutting oil and go slow. Have a TRE handy and stop every so often to drop it in and check how much farther you have to go - it's pretty easy to...

The hunt for new comp. spots

Yeah, not even so much the water though. You can't see it in the pic but the backside of that rock angles off then drops down-down-down to the lower part of the falls. The water was pretty vicious at the bottom - any RC rig falling into that would get blown into a million pieces. :clappy: -...

The hunt for new comp. spots

Places are out there, you just have to keep your eyes open. :; I went on a four day/three night camping trip this past weekend and took my lil' rig w/ me. This was just east of Newhalem on Hwy 20. This particular line was SUHWEET, pics don't do it justice. :D Below is a spot along the...

    Nylint

Sweet video. What'd you use for the onboard camera? I bought myself a 1:6 Nylint for Christmas :Good: and have been pretty impressed w/ it. The weak steering's the only thing that bugs me. Are there any good bang-for-the-buck solutions to get more steering power? 1:6 hydro assist...

    Toe in or not?

I always go w/ 1/8" of toe-in at an 18" radius from center. Handles well and tire wear is not an issue. - Chris

    Welders...

I bought my 210 through CyberWeld.com for about $1200 shipped. The 175 would have worked for my needs but I tend to keep things for a long time and knew that I wouldn't outgrow the 210. I've been really happy w/ it. - Chris

    Goldendale

I should be able to make it. I'll be getting back from the 'Con the Monday prior to the event. :D How soon in advance do campsites at Cottonwood usually need to be booked? - Chris
