it was a blast! it is very worth attending if you like to drive fast. not a crawling event in any way. i think it definately has promise.
the only down fall this time was the rain. it was a high speed short course race but by the end of the day there was 4-10 inches of standing mud...
I was out there today working on the track with dobber and toyota_corey. it is going to be a lot of fun. the wording in the tech rules and class rules is a bit vague because it is not yet known exactly what kind of rigs will actually show up.
this will be a short course style event but...
i ended up completing the course. the run was a ball of fire with out another fireball.
here is the helmet cam video of my second atf fire.

i had fun today.
the odds were just not in my favor this week and my truck fought me until the last minute and could not make it out
i want to give a huge thanks to brent for offering his buggy to me to race for points. :awesomework: :awesomework:
i say just go with some good ol' heim joints and carry a couple spares. no trailside rebuilding, no messing around with assebling a joint. just swap in a new one and you are on your way.
my heims take a hell of a beating.
i am doing everything i can to be there. i have a couple busy days ahead of me. i will make it if my parts show up tomorrow. nothing like cutting it close!
