It increases line pressure in the program, the extra line pressure added causes it to bypass on the cooler bypass(I mentioned in the last post) and causes it to run hot because its not getting to the cooler, hence the bypass tube pressure valve is allowing the fluid to bypass the cooler causeing...

It appears to be a nice tire. I was going to buy them but got a better deal on a almost new used set of toyo m55's. They are reasonably priced and very heavy duty tire. :beer:

There are guys on the dieselstop.com that have done it. I have a buddy whom has the resitor on his truck and a 6 position bullydog chip on his truck and it really woke it up.:beer:

You didn't say if you just wanted pmore power or just maintianance work, If your looking for a nice power upgrade I would get an edge evolution programmer and manual gauges to moniter temps. It takes minutes to install and really wakes up the old 7.3.:beer:
