I realize this is an old thread BUT the Koyo bearing is out of Kawasaki Triple trees and can be gotten from places other than Marlin. Just an FYI to people. I sourced them for myself years ago when Marlin was on like 6 month Backorder.

Try finding a universal one from an auto parts store by dimensions in a catalog. Or try having a glasspack installed after the muffler to quiet it down some more.

You can also add a 2lb Residual valve to the rear around where the original LSPV was at. It keeps a liitle pressure on the calipers to help with the soft feel.

Carquest can also get the service kit and get the trunions. Their bearings are a BCA 30303 the Knuckle felt, seal, and tins are also available next day @ $28 a side.

The right stuff is the best out there. It is all I use. Yes is is spendy however I buy the calking tubes and use them in the mini gun then seal the tube with a nail or screw. Nothing seems to work as well. IT is a very thick material that is way sticker than RTV.

Daves and Marlin are different from TG. My Brother had Marlin ones that did that. They gave him a FROR one in exchange.

Davez Offroad makes a nice set too. but the wait is there with him as well. Small shops that make there own product are always backed up. FROR has great stuff though. Call them up and ask.
