It could be lq4. I'm new to the LS game. It came out of a Chevy 2500 truck. It's the cast iron block not the aluminum. I was going with the cast because it can be bored, the aluminum block can't.

Here are the specs from millers website. This welder is an awesome portable stick welder. We run them off a generator with a 30 amp receptacle. Burns 3/16 like a champ. All you need is a set of leads.
