I have an ORV sticker + Street Plate (no disco pass) on my Jeep because more of that $$$ goes to directly to us. Disco pass on the truck that I can share with the car if I want to do the park thing.
Technically you need an ORV sticker OR a disco pass to be on DNR trails and roads behind a gate...
This. I picked up a 1996 LX176 back in 2008 for $600. I've done oil changes, belts, blades and thats it. Runs like a champ and I hope it lasts a few more years!

DNR is holding two planning meetings in Bellingham in Jan the 19th and 20th. Its imperative that as many people from the ORV community attend BOTH of these meetings. Prioritization for what gets built...
Huh? Unless there was a recent land swap, the back lot is DNR land, has a discover pass sign (depending on if its still there), and a welcome to Walker Valley post on it.
But yah sucks to hear vandals are getting back there. I guess its a bit easier to get away with it there than the main...
Talked to Ted today -- he's trying to recruit a bunch of ATVs as well. Sounds like we can also camp up there Friday night as well!

In all seriousness, the wheelbase does make climbing nice. Its a great excursion and snow rig as well. It complements my rig, or would complement anyone who has a trailer queen who would want to do more long-distance touring.
