    Losi crawler

I'd be all over it, but not as a primary rig. I think many of these folks aren't seeing where 1:18 scale fits into the bigger picture. I likely will get one after some time...

    Losi crawler

Yeah but he mentioned the ARTR. :D The Axial RTR seems just Ok to me. You'll either be completely satisfied and having fun, or kicking yourself for not just ponying up for the comp class rig. Seems like there's a lot of plastic vs. the comp. Check out the Losi specs and you'll see what...

    Losi crawler

The Losi comes ready to drive, the Axial needs quite a few parts yet to drive. All said and done the Axial is probably twice the cost. Either way, it's not meant to replace the comp rigs - its more of a fun one. I been doing a bit of research on this (just bought a CR-01 today). :redneck:

    Retier Cleanup May 4th.

Any idea what time they're showing up? I'm trying to decide if I can skip making coffee at home or not. I don't have any cupholders! :redneck:

Towing and Tie downs. To the axles, or the "bumpers/suspension"

I heard about that Unimog in the video. Needless to say the owner got off at the next exit so he could tie it down better and change his pants. :redneck:

Towing and Tie downs. To the axles, or the "bumpers/suspension"

Silly Jeep owners and safety... :haha:

Towing and Tie downs. To the axles, or the "bumpers/suspension"

How do you figure that? Proper use of the frame/bumper method consists of ratcheting it down to the bump stops, meaning no "snap and slack". :awesomework: Furthermore you lose any "snap and slack" of the suspended weight bouncing around up top. :corn:

Towing and Tie downs. To the axles, or the "bumpers/suspension"

The correct speeeeeeling is "axles". :haha: :fawkdancesmiley: At this rate, probably not. I'm moving to a temporary house for a couple years and don't have room for the Mog there. I'll likely be having it hauled over to my parents place in the Tri-Cities for storage if no one buys it. I think...

Towing and Tie downs. To the axles, or the "bumpers/suspension"

When I finally have a tow rig and trailer for the Mog I'll be strapping it down at the bumpers / frame. :fawkdancesmiley:

Looks Like a new Tow Rig for me in 2010

I truly would be right there with ya, except Toyota will likely make it slushbox only. I still can't bring myself to get one. :puke: Everything else has me stoked. :awesomework:

    Optima Batteries woes!

I've seen the "Optima bashing" threads many times. The trouble is that most folks don't specify which color they're running. Typically the issues are with the reds. They can't sit un-used for very long, and they can't take a full discharge...at all. Get yourself a yellow or blue and you'll...

    Izzy?

I'd like to help out with the Izzy repair if I can. That's still probably the most fun trail I've been on in my (mildy modded) Tacoma. I'd hate to see something like this contribute to the demise of Reiter. With the holidays here I don't have much free time, but I do have the entire week of...

This SUNDAY - Tinkham Snow Run I90

I was out on Tinkham last Wednesday - getting the tree with the family. There was really no snow to talk of. :booo: There might be more now, but doubt there is a whole lot. Darn warm weather and rain hit the pass too.

    Automatic transmission question

Well, it turned out to be an exhaust leak - go figure. I had purchased a new cat-back a month ago, finally had a chance to install it yesterday. No more sound. :D The old exhaust was looking pretty sad, and there was a crack in the muffler itself. That was probably the culprit...and it...

    Automatic transmission question

Would there be any other signs? The engine runs fine during all this, doesn't appear to lose power when the sound is happening.
