Is that the connector on the distributor? That wouldn't be my first guess... Do you know the base timing spec?

    Ford "No Spark" Troubleshooting...

Took the module in and it tested bad. Put a new one on it and got it running again... Its running a little rough, most likely a combination of old gas and the timing being disturbed. Anyone know the procedure for setting the timing on this model?

    Ford "No Spark" Troubleshooting...

I hear the fuel pump when the key is turned on... But I definitly have no spark at the spark plugs. I have 12V at the coil, 2 of the wires at the module have 12V and 2 have about 5V.

First of all you need to find out what is missing... fuel or spark. Throwing parts at it is just an expensive way of dealing with the problem, would have been cheaper to pay a good mechanic in the long run if you keep that up.

New steering- is this gonna work?

Having exposed threads is not a design flaw... its called adjustment. Those rod ends are designed to have excess thread. As long as you have full thread engagement on the threaded portion of the tube end your as strong as you can get. You will bend or break the steering rods at the welds way...

    fullsize guys question

2-4" lift with a lot of trimming or 6-8" with less trimming. For crossover you want to pick up a stock 2wd chevy truck steering box to get the side to side throw.
