Safety modifications
Shaking the hand of a Clinton is all the protection you need . . . . . . Thank you for fixing the internet
And I mean how the heck does that happen? Shy of a moderate explosion that may have rendered them unconscious
"2 ladies burn to death in the car wash in a razor"
Ah ok you're reading the twin power turbo engine cover.
Ok I thought you twin turbo'd this guy.
It's actually a single turbo that uses 2 separate exhaust tubes to power the turbine on the turbo.
What threw me was your stand alone post that said "twin turbo 4 cyl"
All good. I was about to...
Tried to post an "atta boy" several times. Said my post has timed out no matter what I do.
Sweet red compressor housing. The tigged exhaust is awesome. Wish I had the coin to buy a nice machine
Lookin awesome. I love the small pony builds. How many gallon fuel cell??
Re: 1986 Dynasty Apollo Ski Boat
Is the 4.3 in the pic the replacement motor that already has parts transferred to it?
Or is the original motor and accessories still in the hull and this is the complete replacement?
Or is it when you corner in a GT3RS and it sticks to the pavement like glue at 108mph where you've driven your truck at a max of 55 and it got loose.
Gives you the whip ****ties
That's it I'm using that term from now on "whip ****ties"
"If you weren't out there doing whip ****ties instead of doing your homework you would have done better on your test yesterday"
Mm yummy
I always loved 4l80s. They are a great trans. The only kicker with them was if they had the slightest pressure leak they'd burn to the ground. So keeping them tight was the key then you could get 50k out of em.
I'm guessing you're gonna rebuild. Fresh o rings in all the accumulators...
Fluid in plug won't cause a no reverse for sure. Reverse is 100% hydraulic. No solenoids are affected. I used to see fluid them all the time. Plus remember that on the other side of that connector are bare pigtail connections at each solenoid that are fully submerged all the time.
That low...
So what'd you find in the trans? Direct clutches toast? Low servo issue? Valve issue?
It was always motorhomes that would toast reverse. I know we do different things with our rigs. Lol
So just curious
What's the solenoid command supposed to be during a 1-2 then a 2-3 shift ?
1-2 off 2-3 on ? Then 2-3 off and 1-2 on?
Asking because I'm wondering if the 2-3 is off during a 2-3 shift rather than on. Then you would just want to pull the pin from the harness to get a 2-3 shift
Correct. All you really need is "transmission output controls" so you can manually command a gear change
Then you can probe harness with it running on jack stands to be sure the signal is being sent.
Without that ability, your problem is gonna be hard to pin point. About all you can do is...
