I want to put together a Dana 44 front axle with the width of a Wagoneer or J10 and am wondering if anybody knows if Jeep had an 8 lug Dana44? If not, any recomendation on a good year of Wagoneer Dana 44 that I should use to put my mid seventies Chevy Dana44 8 lug stuff on?

Ended up using Wrangler front rear leafs in the front of the Scout and 52" Chevy Blazer rear leafs in the back of the Scout.

Wrangler leafs are 44 1/4" eye to eye.

I am building a '64 IH Scout with a 14 bolt in the rear and a 44 in the front. I am hanging the rear end with '76 K5 blazer rear springs, but need some ideas for some front springs. I need something around the 42" to 46" eye to eye range. I could get a way with a 48" if I had to. Any ideas...
