    3.5 Ecoboost

Buddy has a 2015 Expedition with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Chronic problems. Coil packs are constantly dying. Its drinking coolant. And there is a leak on the turbo oil line at the turbo. Seems most of the expeditions will experience one of the 3 problems at some point but he got lucky and got all 3.

    Tattoos and employment

I hire folks with visible tattoos for white collar office jobs/management positions. Knowing when to cover up for meetings has been the only conversation I've had to have with my folks. I think the only tattoos that would cause some concern are face/neck tattoos since they can't be covered for...

    Laptop

I've been stuck doing lots of break/fix IT work lately due to staff shortages. We are mainly a Dell shop but their commercial grade stuff (even bottom barrel models) has been durable and quality for the price. I have a cheap commercial dell and a lenovo laptop. Zero issues and would recommend...

    Any drone guys in here?

I looked into drones for commercial use as part of my environmental business. The licensing fees werent bad ($150). However, they were not covered under my business insurance and required a separate commercial drone liability coverage policy. I talked with a number of companies that had...

    Women’s hobbies

My wife does sewing and embroidery. She has her craft space and goes and does her thing. I found that popping in once a night and offering to help (even though I cant contribute) usually gives me all the peace and quiet I want. On occasion she wants me to keep her company so I grab a chair and...

    Wrong turn

When I was working for the feds, we would be out surveying for rare animals and plants on federal lands and have these kinds of jackasses appear out of nowhere completely lit and packing. We always just chirped our radios a few times and let the rangers show up and haul the guy off. When I was...

    Colej ejecashun

I've floated around a lot of these industries through primary or side employment. I've seen the good and bad of most of them. Id seriously consider learning either a specialized drafting platform (REVIT) or basic 2d/3d with some sort of database knowledge and get into asset management. IT can...

Use shapeways. Been the most cost effective for me for custom, one-off stuff with a guaranteed good quality.

    Website Design for small business

I've done several from small businesses in the past. I typically charged between $75-85/hour for development (depending on how much of a pain the ass i expected them to be). The most common complaint I heard from customers about site developers were they never delivered on the site or didnt...
