A group of us are thinking about heading up there for our 1st time there. 8 rigs, all jeeps. I know some of them wanted to head over the mountain to liberty but not sure its open yet, does anybody know if the trails are open? Hopefully we make it to reiter for our first try at it.

Trying to find out if the trails over in liberty ate open yet? Tried the forest service and the ranger station but its impossible to talk to anybody. If anybody knows or has info it would be greatly appreciated. Have a group of about 8 rigs heading over,hopefully!

I have 4 37x14.50x15 swamper iroks. Very balloony. 2 are decent, 2 are getting down there, but still enough to use for awhile.

Just got back from 8 days of wheeling liberty, very nice trip up until Saturday, when a a buddy with not a whole lot of experience showed up, but a set up rig rolled 3 times off the last hillclimb on the guard station trail. Seat belt broke in half and ended up pinned against passenger door...

Large group of us (6-10) headed to liberty for labor day, looks like the 27th-3rd. Mostly older cj's and maybe an fj. I'll be in a orange cj7 on propane.

Was a good trip, had 97 rigs register. Started out as a parking lot on the trail. There was a bronco that had a bad starter and blocked the trail. After that it was all wheeling until the bronco stalled and lost its brakes at the top of a hillclimb, rolled down the hill and flew off the trail...

I'm thinking about going up Friday night and camping out somewhere.

It's on the 10th, west to east and back,, staging area is up fs70 at pyramid creek parking area and running the wagon trail. Yes, it should be crowde

I might be game, depends on how late duty calls on friday.

Liberty was absolutely a blast this year. Rained on and off which kept the dust away, and the trails were a slip and slide. :beer:
